Jenny is prying it from my grasp to take it to the Post Office tmw morning. I am going to miss that Blackbird. It was all I could do NOT to undo the whipping on one end to see how he cut the fabric! I REALLY want to make one. I will just have to come up with my own design. I can call it the Stormcrow SchmackBird (inside joke: remember Schmubbermaid).

I'm going to be doing a section hike starting on Sunday right after the hang is over. Would you be interested in dropping me off in Erwin and then taking my vehicle on up to the Damascus area?

I could do that if I could find a ride down from Damascus. I could leave my car at MRO and then ride down with someone then drive your car back to MRO and leave the keys with Jeff or if someone in town was willing to let you leave your car at their place.

We always go the first or second week of September. Always trying to get there when there is no chance of mosquitoes but before the really harsh weather starts. But some years we shake things up and go somewhere else, like the Olympics.

Ok, Ed. Add another to that list. I have my friend Dancer talked into coming to the hang with me and giving hammocking a go. This will be her first try at it, so hopefully all will go well. Anyone that's coming have an extra UQ she can borrow for the weekend? I've got a hammock she can use and we can share a trap, so she just needs some under insulation. Much obliged for any assistance on this, y'all!

OK Hooch, I'll bring an extra SnugFit for Dancer. BTY, your favorite Hunter livermush is made in Marion, about 6 mi from our house--guess I'll bring some to the Apr campout
