Will Hammock Bliss Tree Straps work with a HH Ultralighte Backpacker Asym hammock? I'd like to replace the standard Tree Huggers with something a little longer, and the HH replacements cost a lot more (especially with shipping).

Strapworks simple slings will meet any need you have for tree huggers and they are extremely reasonable in cost.
I may be slow... But I sure am gimpy.

What size sewn loop would you recommend?
'hammock bliss' seems a little pricey, but nice idea. And the 'strapworks' is a sweet idea as well, but when you get to the 5' to 6' length, the price gets close to the 'hammock bliss'. what to do...both still cheaper than HH.
I like the best, but i also like inexpensive, the best for less is obviously 'nylon' tubular webbing. I have done quite well with 1/2", but if you want a little stronger and/or(maybe) a little more tree friendly, just go wider. While it's nice to have 'pre-made' gear, it's also better(if done right), cheaper, funner, etc., to do it yourself. Sew or tie 3"eye at one end of the webbing. girth that sucker around tree, other end tie in to hammock.
I've been using 1/2 in 'multape'(aka 'Cable Pulling Rope' & 'Polyline muletape'). Last year i was the lucky winner when i found approx 500ft of 'muletape' at a flea market, and paid $5, one of the best deals i've ever found.
Any reason you couldn't buy a seatbelt at a junkyard and sew up your own strap?

Doesn't nylon stretch? I got the polypro straps from strapworks - no complaints, no obvious wear after a year of use.
I believe the one-inch stuff from Speer Hammocks will likely be lighter than most other options.
Thank you Stretch, I appreciate the confirmation.
