25 inch ridgerest full length in double layer traveler?

I'm thinking about this as a setup: 1/2" thick 25 inch wide ridgerest full length diagonal (head to toe) in double layer warbonnet traveler? I figured the pad wouldn't shift much since a corner of the pad would stick out of either end.

    Has anyone tried this?

I've used the inflatable version in that size and yes you are correct it tends to move around less than the smaller pads. It was in one of those folding seat sleeves so that may have helped keep it in place by being less slippery.

The part I liked best about using the pad is that it completely eliminated any calf ridge I had with my Blackbird. I probably prefer a bit more air in it than was recommended in my reading here on the forum. Your results may vary.

I really like this setup for indoors or in the back yard.

I tried it, and wasn't too impressed. But then, I'm not a fan of pads, in general.

Iirc, I liked the 20" version better.

Re: 25 inch ridgerest full length in double layer traveler?

25 inch for wide is about right... I've had very poor results with long pads... my advice would be to cut it down to about 60 inches... let your head and feet hang off.
