I thought I'd introduce myself. I'm new to hammocks but after reading the Ultimate Hang and lurking on various websites I decided to take the plunge.
I built a very basic tied end hammock of ripstop, directly onto webbing straps for simplicity. A few test runs down I have ordered a Backpacker Ultra light from Hennessy which I plan on taking on the Two Moors Way next week. I can share pictures if anyone is interested.
I'm hoping to go on further adventures throughout the year and further afield.
Oh, and thanks to everyone who has contributed to the forum already for your ideas and inspiration!
