No objections here. I think they'll be able to find a patch of ground at each campsite
With beauty all around you, may you walk.

Yeah, I was pretty proud of the 20 lbs reduction and I will be working to get it even lower.

The tarp seams to be sealed after the 3rd attempt at sealing it. I will be bringing it on the hike next week so we shall see how things go. If all else fails I do have an emergency blanket I can pull out and suffer through it.

Hairbear, I may give you a call tomorrow after work if you are going to be around I wanted to discus our plans for Thursday and Bell Mountain. I would call tonight but I have a scout meeting and they tend to run late every Wednesday.

I worked on my kit for a while tonight, weeding out some things I don't really need and swapping out a few items for lighter stuff.
I cut some straps off my Jam pack, swapped tree straps for lighter ones, exchanged biners for soft shackles....etc, etc.

I got my base weight down to 10.86lbs! I can handle that!

That is very light. I am not sure I will ever make that light. I was excited to drop a a pound or so switching to a nice top quilt form enlightened equipment. Saved a bunch of weight there.
