What is your opinion on the enlightened equipment quality level?
Haven't got a chance to see their gear yet.

I think the quality of the gear is pretty decent. It is my first down item. 20* with an extra ounce of down. Came out right at about 25 oz. Seems very warm so far. I have only used it a few times. If I get a down underquilt I will probably go back to EE.

I am pretty happy with it so far. Only used it once. I will have it along so you can check it out. Certainly beats my IX underquilt. You can rig the top quilts as underquilts per the EE guys. That is one reason I got it. I hung it in the basement as an underquilt for 2 weeks. Slept nice and warm.

I'd sure be happy to have them along.

Well guy's it's official, this will be my last Missouri Hang; I've accepted a new job offer and tendered my resignation. Makes me sick to think of not hanging with you after this trip but I'm going to just focus on the fact that I at least have this trip!

My target base weight for this trip (including trekking poles) is 6.86lbs.

Underwear? You guys pack underwear? Hmmm.

    Well make it 7lbs even

Spider I'll miss you and your dear lady too! I'll stay in touch on the forum although sitting round a camp fire together is special.

I'm with Skygzr; I'm packing my quilts based on 40+ so if it's colder....well I just freeze!
