    Lexington hikes?

My brother (lives in GA) and I (live in Wisconsin) are looking for a hike/hang somewhere half way between us. Can anyone recommend anything around the Lexington area? Or somewhere else in the area if it is suggested. Thanks.

    Lexington hikes?

Lexington, KY? Red River Gorge. About 45 minutes East of Lexington.

A group trip is coming up March 22-24.

Who cares about showers, gourmet food, using flush toilets. Just keep on walking and being away from it all.

There are times that the only way you can do something is to do it alone.

We can't make the 22nd but thanks for the lead. It looks like an amazing spot and pretty much half way between WI & GA.

    Good luck.

There is also a good Forest Service campground if you want to car camp and not do the primitive. It is called Koomer Ridge. My favorite! Lots of trees and many of the sites are somewhat secluded. Shower house open from April to October.
