I have a tadpole w/o side pulls & wonder that too. So far, I like it fine w/o but might spring for Dutch's side pulls just to see how the other half lives

my tadpole doesn't have side pull outs and i wouldn't have it any other way.
the TP is small enough that the pull outs would very rarely be of an advantage (imho).
i find the tadpole to be simple perfection.
my larger tarps do have side pulls but i only use them about 50% of the time.

I agree with flatline... I had 4 extra tie outs sewn on for a little more variety , very happy with it..

I have a Tadpole w/o side pulls and could not be happier. The workmanship is great and when you mention service, WL is what others are compared against.

I just ordered one and got the side pullouts. I want to have the option of keeping the tarp off me and for more control in wind. Or maby I could replace with a pole pocket down the road. We;ll see if I actually end up using them.
Keep movin', keep believing and enjoy the journey!

I got one back during the black friday sale. With pull outs. Like Grannypat, I wanted the options. The tarp didnt get much use this winter, so I cant say for sure if the Pull outs were worth it or not. either way,one heck of a nice tarp, you wont be disappointed
