    That settles it. My wife is never moving to Florida. I do miss my home state at times though.

    Of course on the bright side, at least I live within a few hours of mountains now.

    So does anybody know how if the normal repellants work for these hairy monsters?

    I read an article that said that most repellants, including Deet, do not work on these guys. The article came from the font of all knowledge ... the Internet.
