Hennessy tarp and hammock guylines setup

I have a Hennessy Explorer ultralite and a Cub for my son. I was wondering what you use on your guylines for the hammock and tarp to make adjustments easier when staking out?

For tarp guy lines I just go around stake and tie a tautline hitch. Easy peasy. Getting a set of figure 9's for winter...knots are hard at -20!!!!

I have HHs as well. I'm doing prusik knots on the lines for easy hook and adjustment and using shock cord near the tarp to take up any sag as the tarp gets wet, etc. Waiting on my neon orange shock cord and para cord to arrive this next week (for visibility purposes). Praying for clear skies this weekend so me and the kids can play with the hammocks. I've worked 20 days straight with no down time...I need a nap.

Pictures would be cool once you get your new cord and get it set up!

I added Nite Ize Figure 9(s) to my Hex Fly tiedowns

... makes adjustments super quick and easy for both setup and takedown.

How rugged are these, being plastic and all? They look easy and the price is good just wondering about durability. Will they work on the shock cord on my hammock guy lines also?

The plastic figure 9s are plenty sturdy and durable for the tarp guy lines. Since the hammock side tie-outs are shock cord, I don't see the need for figure 9s on them... just stake or tie them off with a little bit of tension and let the shock cord do its thing.
