Is it easier to look around with a shorter quilt? I can deal with a footpad to get a better view from the hammock.
I about to buy a uq, still gathering info.
Thanks, Will

I don't see much of a difference between the full and 3/4 as far as visibility goes. But a definite difference in warmth.
Happy shopping!

Well, 2 things, on the foot end a full length does tend to get less spread out as your body profile around your feet narrows, so it would ride up more and in that regard it would be harder to see out at the foot end with a full length. Pretty minor, though. With a shorter UQ, you can rig it so its less under your head so that you can peak out around it if its riding up high in your setup. Again, pretty minor considerations, but you might consider a tapered full-length UQ if you want. Maybe one that is less wide than others, whether full or short length.

Maybe consider a Leighlo 66" UQ. Kind of a 7/8 length and tapered towards the foot. Really like mine and since I don't have to work this weekend, I'll be out using my Leighlo UQ
Thanks all, didn't want to miss anything

My underquilt never covers anything that the hammock body doesn't so to me in my limited experience its a wash...
