    A little help please

I tried a hammock last year for the first time and sort of liked it I'm sure it would have been allot better had I know what I was doing. Anyway, I am looking to purchase a setup for this year. I am a backpacker but don't mind a little extra weight for comfort. I was thinking of a WBBB double layer, a 0 degree under quilt and whoopie slings webbing Dutch clip. Any input would be great, I know everyone likes their own things. Thanks.

Sounds like a good start. You have a group hang coming up in your area. Ask if any one will have a WBBB you can try out....https://www.hammockforums.net/forum/...ad.php?t=68231

Good start. What about weather protection and top insulation? I'm guessing you already have a tarp and are going to use a sleeping bag as a top quilt? Unless you plan on winter camping, a 0 degree UQ might be more that you need. A 20 degree quilt works for three season use.
