the narrows at deep water trail camp is a section of the Yadkin river between Badin lake and Lake Tillery. my kids and i camp and canoe there. There are always kayaks and other canoes around. it is a great place for a relaxing paddle and also to see bald eagles!

you could do the Uwharrie river from low water bridge to hwy109. in the spring my boys and i took our old town tripper down it and had a great time. if you stop at the Eldorado outpost before hand you can get someone to shuttle you.

    Tacoma96,
Oakseed has some great advice. The "Narrows" is a great place to paddle. Bald eagles and lots of otters. Getting there is part of the fun too.

Thanks again. Would not mind getting a kayak/canoe trip together if anyone is interested. I don't know nothing about the area, but willing to learn.

I'll have to bring the back seat with me and take people for a ride

I bet you could get a vest from Wal-Mart since hunting season is ramping up. Probably would be cheap & not be in your way while riding.
