need plans for tarp skins

Looking for plans for tarp skins. I have a 4 season tarp with doors any advice on measurements?????? Has anyone made them outa Cuban?

I made my first set by:

1. Roll up tarp as it will be when the skins are in use.
2. Measure the circumference of the middle of the tarp.
3. Measure the lend circumference of the tarp.
4. Measure the length of the tarp and divide in half.
5. Add 1 inch to the first two numbers and 2 inches to the 3rd number.
6. Hem the ends.
7. Sew the long ends together.
8. Turn right side out.

Now though I just shoot for a uniform 4-6 inches along the entire length for simplicity.

I gots me a question too!

So the tarp is tucked away in it's skin, but how do you store it? Do you roll it or fold it before putting it back in the pack? I know some folks store it outside the pack to dry while trekking, but once it's dry, then what?

I cram mine in a small cuben stuff-sack and it goes in the top of my pack. I sorta fold it accordion style to go in the sack.
