I'm leaving tomorrow headed to San Diego. Does anybody know where I could hang my hammock near the water by mission bay? I also need a place to hang in Pismo beach? Any suggestions will be greatly appreciated.
The yellowtail are biting down south, the lingcod up north. I'm not coming home until I have a freezer full of fish. My guess 5 days. Hopefully I'm wrong and it's a week. Either way I'm super stoaked. Nothing like a last minute trip.

I lived in SD for nearly 15 years and I don't know of any hammock viable camping in the area. The Mission Bay campgrounds don't have may trees and you can't camp in the park portion of Mission Bay. The only "campers" in Balboa Park are the homeless. It's a pretty scary place after dark and I wouldn't suggest hanging there.
Sorry I can't be any help. But it may not be possible there.

Just curious, Pismo beach is nowhere near San Diego, is that a typo?
