    Well yea, that would work too.
    I was thinking "ease of assembly" as the rectangular one is a bit easier to lay out, and the Patomic is deisgned for the shape of a HH, even tho it do fit my Travellers quite well.

    yeah we'll see how happy you are about that when its 115° outside!

    fwiw, you should get a down quilt since our weather is usually good.

    Just got his book Trail Life, great read full of some neat info. Good to know that the quilt he makes is good in hammock.

    If your quilt is big enough to pull over your head, or you use the spare materials left over to make a bomber hat, you'll be just as warm. We don't need no stinkin' mummy bag.
