Hello Loco Libre Gear - FREE Topquilt Contest

I have been a member here for a while, and while I lurk more than I post I am around on almost a daily basis. I've been sewing for myself and friends for about a year now and have decided to take the plunge in a very competitive marketplace. Thus the birth of Loco Libre Gear. My website is still under construction, but I hope to have it in full swing in the next week or so. Until then, and with the 4th of July quickly approaching, I have decided to start off with a great big red, white and blue bang. I have decided to give away a custom 50° red, white and blue topquilt to celebrate Loco Libre Gear, summer, and the 4th. The rules are simple:

1)Post in this thread in 50 words or less (I will be counting) what you love about America.
2)All posts must be made by midnight on June 20, 2015.
3)One post per forum member.
4)This contest is open to ALL forum members.

I would also appreciate it if you would search out Loco Libre Gear on facebook and like us. This is NOT necessary to enter or win.

I will decide and announce the winner on June 21, 2015. You will be contacted via pm so we can determine the final details of the quilt (length, width, taper). The pattern has already been determined, and I believe the winner will be pleased.

What do I like about America....the chance to go out and fail, yes fail. Where else can someone go out and try and do different things. May not succeed each time, but at least we have to chance to try.

I teach at a community college. I love that the "American Dream" involves working to achieve something, and how many people embrace that value. I love the hope that people - especially immigrants - hold for themselves, their families, and their friends here, since they believe in their ability to work.

I love the fact that in America we have so many diversified cultures all living and working together. Know where else in the world is there such diversification in the population.

Ok, I'm not American so I don't know if I qualify but I'll play along anyways.

I like America because I have found Americans to be universally friendly and helpful no matter where in the US I have travelled. I also like America because although lately America is getting flak about being the World's Police, it is the first country to send aid to others when there is a disaster.

What I love about American is our Flag. We are all covered by it. Those here who love it and those here who hate it doesn’t matter, we are all treated equal under it. It is the one symbol that represents us all.

50 words or Less??? so little. Ok I will be brief!

I love America because it is the place I am from, it has nurtured me and provided for me in ways I probably still do not understand. It gives me the ability to prosper to any level I chose. As I tell my children even not doing something is choosing.
