I just got the ok from my wife to get my new hammock ordered up. Now the painful waiting begins. I am going to do my best to patiently wait for my 11ft black bodied DangerBird with a Royal Blue M90 over cover.

Seeing all of the pics that everyone else has put up of their Birds has made it very difficult to wait for this day of simply placing my order to come around.

Once my Bird lands I will then be able to hopefully convince my wife or son to join me for a couple of nights in the woods seeing as I will then have a hammock for each of us. Enough rambling from me now, I just had to share my excitement with someone other than my wife.

Yippeeee!!! I just checked Papa Smurf's website and my Dangerbird is now listed as "In Progress". What a great Sunday evening find. If all goes really well for me I will have it in hand for a few days off that I have coming up. It things go really, really well I will even get a few nice days of weather in which to try both it and my four legged sons new shelters out as well.

Congrats on the new DangerBird. I'm glad to hear that it is such a great hammock. I'm 373 and I can't wait to try it out for myself.
