EDIT: DONE! (I think)...
I'm looking to set up my indoor porch for hanging tonight to test out some gear in the single digits. I have some choices of where to put the D rings I'm using, but I don't really know where I should hang them!
In the woods, I put the tree huggers around my head height or a little higher and the HH entry ends up around butt height, which is perfect. I get a little sag overnight due to rope stretch but have never ended up on the ground. I'm not sure what distance I tend to pick for trees, as I don't carry a tape measure in the woods.
Help! Give me some ballpark guesses if you don't know for sure. I am only going to get one decent shot at this (I don't want too many holes in the walls)
I will not need a tarp as I'm covered, though it might be nice to have the room to test that too, so I'm guessing I'll need more than 10 feet. I'm going to end up diagonally across the room somewhat, since the room is too narrow width ways and too long lengthwise to go on the axis.
Thanks
