    Zipper question

I wasn't able to figure this out from the pictures: how do the zippers of the DangerBird and RoamingGnome compare to the WB Blackbird? With the Blackbird I like that I can close the zipper at any place I wish, e.g. directly next to my shoulder to make it easy to adjust the underquilt. Is this the case with the RoamingGnome, too? And how about the DangerBird?

Forgot: I'm referring to the old-style Blackbird (non-convertible).

Here's a webpage that might help.
    http://www.dream-hammock.com/ZipperOptions.html

The standard Blackbird has 2 zipper sliders that close in the center (like the 2nd photo).

Thanks PapaSmurf; your website is amazing. There's always something that I haven't discovered, yet

If I understand correctly, the "Blackbird zipper mode" is 2 sliders. If I want this on a RoamingGnome, this would mean either 2 sliders on each hammock side, or 2 sliders on the side that I will mostly use to enter and exit the hammock and 1 slider on the other side, correct?

Would something like this be possible with the DangerBird? Maybe:
    - right side: mosquito netting 2 sliders, top cover 1 slider
    - left side: mosquito netting 1 slider, top cover 2 sliders

Yep, you got it except I'd need to use 3 sliders instead of 2 on the sides you would like to open from the center. Just like it shows in the 5th photo.

What blackbird IS convertible? Or am I confused by your use of the word?

The Blackbird XLC is convertible. That's what the "C" stands for.
