Very nice setup. Ah, and you guys live pretty close to where i went to college (SFA in Nac). Have you hammock camped at Davy Crockett national forest? I've been wanting to go before it gets too humid

We've never camped there as a troop. I think I went there when I was at SFA for some reason or another. I've got several Scouter friends that either work at SFA or still live in Nac.

Memories.....I've got a 15 year old Eagle who was a 12 year old Life and SPL. My youngest is 12 year old Life now. My 12 year old has been wanting a hammock which led me to this forum.
It sounds like you have a great son and I am sure you are very proud of him. Like me, I am sure that you have just as much fun on outings as the Scout do.

It would be great to have a scout hang... Maybe a Renegade Hang at the Jamboree this summer.

Our Eagle Quinn hanging at OA last month. Good times. We also have a 5yo so it's almost time to start over... We also have a Venture Crew so my 14yo girl can join in.

Do we have any Venture Crews on the thread?

LOL a renegade hang at Jambo. I know that our contingent is being limited to the Jambo duffel. We are going to Conclave in a few weeks. Might get a hang in there as well. Yes I have as much if not more fun than Lake.
