I go a cheaper route--save up the plastic balls from rollon deodorant bottles or a ping pong ball. Bunch the fabric around the ball, tie around the base (2 round turns + 2 half hitches) with a short piece of cord which then becomes your tie point.

I tried to order over the weekend and got error messages. I emailed, and today the Nice Lady in Charge called me and took my order over the phone. Very nice customer service. Maybe I'll get them by the weekend and have one more bit of gear to test.
Your right it works great. Finally got some longer tree huggers to get a loose enough angle to where I could actually pull out the sides of the hammock a good bit. Grip clips seemed to be putting little to no stress on the hammock material. I even used some 1/8" nylon cord to do a test ridgeline to see if I could make my net work with one and the darn Claytor looked alot like an HH. Pretty happy with the results and can't wait to put in a permanent ridgeline.
What size grip clips do you guys use for sil, the Light Fabric or Micro? Does anybody know how much they weigh?
I use the micro ones. No clue what they weight, but it ain't much. The 25 or 30' lengths of mason line on each side probably weigh as much.
Trust nobody!
I have no clue which ones I'm using. They were the only size REI carried. About as big around as if you make a circle between your thumb and index finger.
