While I was at walmart I looked at the curtain sheers again they are 4.96 for one panel and are made in Polyester.... does anyone know what type of material it is called because it might be cheaper by the yard.

If your worried about the quick link you have pictured give some soft shackles a try. They are what I use to attach whoopie sling to tree strap, works great, made of same amsteel whoopie sling is made from.

Link to making soft shackles, this is just the first one that came up on google. I'm sure there is more info on the forum for these.

Hmmm I will make some of those too...

Well here is my progress right now. The tree huggers are done finally lol
And the the structural ridge line are made in the same fashion as the whoopie slings final adjustment range from 80 - 114.

And a pic of my old singer 362 that I got for free.

I doubt seriously you could find that material cheaper by the yard.

Looks like you're making great progress!

Okay cut the ripstop to 10' tonight... But before I started to roll hem the sides I decided to practice on a little piece first and make a ridge line organizer to warm up on and get my old singer set up for strait stitches again.(I don't know if all sewing machines are as picky as mine is but it takes a few passes to get the stitches and foot print pressure dialed in)
But here are some pics of my work. I know it isn't the prettiest but it will work.I even added the weight in it that I would normally have except a flashlight. And keep in mind this I on a piece of paracord in between to chairs so the tension isn't there like it will be in actual operation.
