Does anyone know what the rules are about hanging in the Rocky Mountain National Park? Specifically in the Lake Nakoni area off of the North Inlet Trail. Any info would be greatly appreciated.

I just did a hang in Moraine Park last week (see thread in "trip reports" forum). There were rangers patrolling every so often so I stopped one and asked them that question. The person I was talking too was unaware of any specific regulations concerning hanging hammocks. But, he did say that they usually check to see if you're damaging the trees by using rope/cord versus some kind of webbing.
The other thing they were extremely wary of is camp fires. You might want to check because fires are banned in many areas.
That's a beautiful place you're going - I envy you.
HTH
One more thing - You might want to consider taking bear spray with you.
