    Lower Palisades Snowshoe Trip

We got out for a little snowshoe trip a few weeks ago. It was a perfect winter outing. Lots of fresh snow going in and back out. It did not snow a ton during the night, but the next morning it really let loose. In the low 20s at night. We did about 12 miles and had a blast doing them. When we got out the next morning we were greeted with a road block, it was really snowing and blowing in the valley

That looks like fun. The calm of a snowfall night is great for sleeping.
Good thing the mouse left you alone. (I had one crawl in between my hammock and UQ last fall. Next time I'm taking a mouse trap.)

Beautiful country you have there. Glad to see another snowshoeing video. As mentioned I also love the calm of a snowy evening. Great video.

Hey Thanks Muse!!! Mouse traps may become part of the base pack weight...

Wow you still have a lot of snow. We hardly got that much at all this year and it's pretty well gone.

Looks like a good trip for sure.

It is so much better to watch someone break trail than doing it yourself.

Looks like a blast out there and man did I love looking at the piney mountains.

Blaktree your absolutely correct love the varied seasons for that exact reason. Done with winter bring on the warmth.
