    WBBB on the ground

On those occasions when you have to go to the ground, I would be like to see any pics of how you rig up your WBBB.

I've not used mine that way so no pics.

I did see this old zombie thread that had some pics
    https://www.hammockforums.net/forum/...ad.php?t=34422

I think I would just hang my tarp between my two hiking sticks and call it good.

Do you have a specific circumstance in mind when you might run into this? Or just curious?

I haven’t had to go this yet. I set this up a couple years ago in case I had no other options in inclement weather while on the road or whatever situation. Yes, that is a BB under the SF.

No pics and not a WBBB but for what its worth.....

I have used my DD Frontline on the ground with my exped downmat and was very comfortable. I used large heavy plastic drum liner as a ground sheet and had no issues.

If I had to go to ground, Gunny's example is what I'd use. Sleeping inside the WBBB would provide protection against biting insects etc. Fairly easy to setup, sturdy sticks could be used if nothing else was available for support.

I have not had to do it yet, but while practicing for the eventuality at home, I decided that I needed to put a sheepshank in the ridgeline to keep the netting off my face.
