    I use the regular hennessy straps. I think they are 4 feet long. They are a little short, I would go with six feet if I had a do-over.

    I use carabiners and webbing. I use a clove hitch for hanging. I like the clove hitch because it is adjustable.

    I use the stock webbing with my WBBB and TI Dutch Clips. Great Combo. For big trees could you bring an extra length of webbing and another clip/carabineer to make the straps longer? If that would work then you could have an unlimited strap length to get around some-o-them Sequoias!

    BTW, I also use webbing and mini carabineers for my tarps. Everything works the same and I can carry 1 replacement if I think I might trash a strap.
