    new guy

    Hi all!

My name is butski. I am new to this whole hammock thing and hope to find help and advice with starting up. Also, I am not much with computers so I may need some guidance navigating around here. I like the family oriented focus. I am a divorced Dad with two boys, nine and five, who have had bone marrow transplants. I want to bring them camping, but I like the idea of keeping the kids off the ground and being able to have bug net capability. Any advice on a particular set up would be great. I have been looking at the ENO systems.

    Thanks!!

It(I) might not be the prettiest thing, however It(I'm) is quite functional.

SON: Dad why do I have to make my bed? It is just going to get messed up again.
DAD: Why do you wipe your bottom.

    Hey and welcome to HF
My son 11 and my self both use ENO setups
There not bad and are priced right for the beginner
Also easy and fast to setup
    But like Turtleburger said
If you can make it out to a group hang
That way you can see first hand what's out there
This is your one stop shop for all Hammock knowledge

    Welcome, butski, from LA.
I have an ENO Double Nest and love it. I didn't get a package. However, a few guys in my sons boyscout troop bought an ENO system and they love it. After a few times out, they want to bling it out with bishop sacks, whoopies, snake skins etc. Just go out, get your gear hang it up, hang out on HF, read, don't be afraid to ask questions if you have them, then tweek out your gear.

    It's addictive. HYOH!
