Hello, my name is Tony. I have been wanting to get into camping/hiking sense I learned my wife was pregnant with my, now, 3.5 year old son. Early on I decided I wanted a hammock. I never really got around to it though. About a week ago the big got me again for some reason, but now I know how to sew. So Friday I went and bought 4 yards of rip stop and 40 feet of Amsteal blue and made this
(That's the wife and kid laying in it)
I love it, and I can't wait to try an over night in it. It needs some work though, I don't feel like I can lay flat enough, I tried just bunching the end and a W fold, I'm gonna play with it some more, see what I can do then give it a try in the back yard once I make a bug net for it. Then hopefully this fall I will give it an over night trip, I'm gonna wait till then because I live in St. Petersburg, Fl and its about to get to hot for camping.
