I ordered one today as a backup for other three bug nets I have.
It's just hard to pass up good deal.

Well I got it, it wasn't exactly what I expected. But then again, I didn't very specific expectations.
I guess what surprised me is it is completely open on the bottom. It appears as if it is supposed to just dangle over the hammock. From the catalog picture I thought it was closed.
It didn't come with any instructions either, so I have to figure out just what all the tie outs are for and what the two button holes are for?
The other thing is the storage sack that comes with it is permanently attached to the netting.
So I have a new project. I'll figure out how to attach it to my hammock, close the bottom with some elastic cord - or maybe I permanently attach it and put a zipper on the side, detach the storage sack... a lot of possibilities for 15 bucks.
I really tried but between poor lighting and cheap phone I just couldn't get a pic. But the shape of the net basically matches the instructions posted here: https://www.hammockforums.net/forum/...ad.php?t=36328. It hangs over my hammock just like the pic in the referenced post.
Sorry I don't have a scale.
These are sold out now ... were they even worth it ?
Yeah, I just checked and they're sold out. Darn! Only $15?! I would have justified that purchase in a hearbeat!
This is just over $18 with shipping. Looks like it could be the same thing.

Edit:
Acutally looks like it is called Skeeta-Tent. Quite a few of them on Ebay for less than $25.

I got one from Sportsmans guide last week. Used it last weekend near Lake Oceechobee Fl. Fisheating creek outpost. Swampy, low lying area, 88*w/ lots of bugs, all kinds. This thing worked great. I just draped it over my ridge line. Didn't tie it underneath at all. It is the same one y'all refered to on e-bay. Very light weight, can't say how much exactly. Now I wonder why I ordered a net from Warbonnet a month ago that I don't have yet.
