Peg rig throw down

There are just so many ways to peg out a tarp...the rig I put together is sweet because it makes it easy to pull pegs out of the ground, hard to lose a peg, and easy to adjust tension.

You see I just learned how to splice...so of coarse splicing is the answer to everything for me right now. I spliced some 2.2mil zing it directly to my vargo peg. Then I tied a sort of reverse klemheist knot instead of a prussik...works good.

So show off your peg rigs I would love to see how others do it

Nice idea, can I suggest that on your splice you put the tail right through the long end once and then into the long end for the bury. That makes the long end cinch on the turn and make it less likely to pull out and you would not have to whip it as much as you do, then just a couple of locking stiches or a longer bury would see you right.

I don't mind tying knots but I back splice line like that for a neater end...;-)
