    N00b question about hammock lay

I've tried searching a couple ways but I haven't found anything.
In the seemingly never ending quest to find that perfect Asym lay, with certain folds and gathering methods etc, Has anyone ever experimented with adding an extra sewn in assymetrical layer that essentially runs diagonally between your asym guy out points? or more specifically a panel that goes maybe 12" about to 12" below your guy outs so you have one layer of fabric that is intentionally following your desired lay angle? Does that make sense?

Too much weight? No gain? tried and failed? Just a random thought that popped into my head.

I don't own one or have even lain in one but I believe the "Warbonnet" hammocks have this type of piece sewn in like this.

    Not positive though.

Try their website. I know there is at least one manufacturer that does make these like this. That is as long as I'm picturing what you're saying right.
Don't take life so seriously, its not permenant.

I'll look again. I'm still new and read through a lot of the different manufacturers but didn't recall seeing it but entirely possible I missed it . thanks!

Not sure if this is the Warbonnet footbox your speaking of. I do know there are a few mods or additions available DIY wise to help aid an asym lay (knotty mod and hangnout's small footbox additions are two good ones in my opinion).
