    I'm enjoying this thread. Trip report was very vivid! Apparently mother armadillos don't protect their young like mother bears, but they do teach them that defensive tactic of ****ing.

    Thanks for this great report. Bob and I will leave Cedar Break Park Thursday afternoon sometime and hike until dusk...hopefully finding some trees. We will not hike 18 miles the next day but will hike as far as we can. Then Finish the hike on Saturday, hopefully as we need to pull out the trailer and head for home early Sunday morning. It will probably be hotter and wetter for us that for you all. Your pictures I assume are of the prettiest parts. My mind is more at ease though I don't expect it to be a picnic.

    Thanks for sharing your trip. Not quite ready self sufficient wise yet for my first group hang, had me cracking up about getting up the gumption to go hang with strangers from the internet.
