Lighten me up

OK, so I've always loved my WB Traveler, but this winter had an incident with a mouse that got me thinking about more coverage....I bought a WBBB on sale at Christmas and this weekend was the first time I've had it out....I really didn't want to like it because I felt sure I'd feel claustrophobic in it, but turns out I reallllllly do. So, now I need to know how you BB owners have lightened your up? I already use whoopie slings, bringing the weight to 15.4 oz. then I add my tree straps/alum toggles and that brings it up another 3.1 oz......for a total of 18.5...anyone trump that (without tree straps that would cut into trees)? Just curious if I could do anything to the bungee pull outs to reduce that extra wt.?

That's about as light I could get mine.

You could put dynaglide ucrs on it and shave some grams.

I found a mouse in my DangerBird last year during a snowstorm in the Smokies. He/she must have crawled in through the little opening I left for venting. I was jus relieved I discovered him when I was packing up instead of during the dark of night. I'm not sure my heart could have taken the feeling of some hairy monster skittering across my face. I also had a heck of a time getting him out of there. It was pretty funny.

I've seen others replace the Amsteel ridgeline on the BB with lash-it... Not sure of the weight savings but it might save a couple ounces.

Shorter tree straps is an option, but it can be risky depending on where you hike. You could also forgoe carrying toggles and depend on sticks/pebbles, but that's also risky and for a very small return.

I'm thinking of dynaglide+muletape suspension and ridgeline. You can try also to change side bungees for something thinner, but not very thin. Don't see any other way.
