I use triangle thingies on mine
I am still 18 but with 52 years of experience !
I just loop the UQ suspension around the gathered ends of the hammock
Sometimes I like to hike and think, And sometimes I just like to hike.
Hiking is'ent about waiting for the storm to pass its about learning to hike in the rain.
Get a helper, makes it a lot quicker and less frustrating.

I am new to his under quilt thing. I am thinking there has to be a learning curve.

Hope this might help......just the basics.

Whooooo Buddy)))) All Secure in Sector Seven
I do it the way Shug shows in his video by laying it in the hammock while hooking it up - on account of that's how I started doing it after watchin' his video.
In the warmer months I can just use reflectix and a fleece bag liner on account of livin' in coastal SC.
Just get out there and do it!

I like to go solo - off trail - immerse myself in the area - explore - eat really well - and make it back home.
Another suggestion would be to use the Dutch quilt hangers they work great

I use the Dutch Quilt hangers when I have the bug net pulled back (not used)...but haven't trusted them over the bug net for fear it would rip the fabric (?).
I have some Dutch quilt hooks to try - I'm hoping those are the solution.
