    Question about Burro Top Quilt

I have a question for those of you who own a Hammock Gear Burro Top Quilt. Is the outer fabric ( I assume Nylon) treated with something to make it water resistant? I can't tell from their pictures, but how to the closures work, button, little straps? I would be using it as a sleeping bag on the ground. Thanks for any info !!

Not sure if it is a DWR finish on the material or not. I got mine with snap closure so I could use it as a ground cover also.

I have a burrow 20* which has a plastic snap and drawstring at the top. I don't believe the outer fabric is coated with anything to make it water proof/resistant. It would be awesome if they could source some of the water resistant down that some manufacturers are now using!

    Burro

I saw somewhere that if the nylon is shiny, it has been coated. Are yours shiny?

I do believe it's got a light drw on it.

I remember HG used to carry a nice coyote brown, but due to "questionable drw finish" ont he fabric they stopped carrying it.

That leads me to assume that the ones they currently carry do have some kind of finish.
