It ain't DIY by any means. But it is a subject which has becpome close to my heart. And not much talked about.

I may be slow... But I sure am gimpy.

This is my favorite of yours so far, Rev! Well done...

I never quite understood what you meant when you talked about the difficulties you have experienced with top-loaders. I wonder if there would be a way to put some handles somewhere on a top-loader that would help you get out easier. (I am sure you have considered this...)

I liked your technique on the bridge...made me smile! I still think the HH was clearly the easiest, though...

Nice vid Rev. Thanks for taking the time to share part of yourself as well as the solutions that make the outdoors easier. I'm going to show this to a few people that have doubts about being physically able to enjoy hammocks.

Few questions even though not really mentioned here but your DMB with the B.E.E.P. - have you tried the BEEP exit with only one spreader bar at the head end? Would that allow a best of both worlds situation or would it be too confining? And do you have side tie outs on your DMB?

I've been thinking of doing a vid on my DMB w/beep. I may take it out back and hang it up now that I have a camera with a battery that works. hehehe

Excellent video. I think you presented some options to those who feel they cannot enjoy the outdoors due to disabilities. I know that hammocking has made it easier for me with my prosthetic leg, and I hope it encourages others. Now, if we could only do something about the mental disabilities that getting involved in hammocking presents. My wife thinks I have really gone over the edge since I bought one.

I took the BEEP DMB out and hung it up. Gack I could not believe it. No wonder I couldn't get out of that thing. In gathered mode it almost closed up over the top of me. Talk about shoulder squeeze. It was a good project and a fun time. I learned something about hammocks while making it. But dang.... I couldn't sleep in the gathered mode for beans. I don't even want to mess around with it. The beep is really very counter productive for the dmb design. While it solves the entery/exit issue it is really a non-issue cause I ain't getting in and out of it any more. Secondly, as designed the DMB is intended to have a double bottom for a pad pocket. But the BEEP means only a short pad could be used in it.

Thanks for the fun grizz. But I think this one is slated to be retired. Anybody wanna buy a DMB/BEEP cheap? PM me and we'll work out a deal.
