I own a custom Double Layer Blackbird, and I am ordering a second, lighter version for summer use. I have the "tree strap and amsteel" suspension, and will order the same suspension with my second BB. Maybe when I get my third BB I'll try the other suspension option. (what is the other suspension, like 20' of webbing or something like that?)

I have SL 1.1 BB and a Yeti, so it's 1 1/2 vote for me!

    I'm part of the revolution

How long is it before Warbonnet hangers feel they need thier own site? Just like the hammockers did on WB. That way snobbish BB owners won't have to wade through the endless HH and ENO posts. You could all just talk about how spacious your hammock is and the only controversy will be which suspension is great and which is perfect. How long before this splinter group starts to plot against the hangers of all the other brands? How long before they start converting others to join their cause and threaten the economy of Sir Lanka and Indonesia. Soon, I hope, soon.

In fact I would probably sell both my HH for the right price too. I will not go back to the HH after owning a BB.
All kidding aside, the best backup is duplicate of your best one. I may have to try one.

    BB envy?

Don't worry Dutch, the Bridge will never be taken over! It will be blown up before it is allowed to fall into those snobby BB owner's hands (me being one of them.)

It's already taking place. The HH advocates are being manipulated into changing their suspensions for the hammock races in 2011. The virus is spreading. How much are those BB's anyway... I may have to work on my side loading exit technique now that my DMB is retired.... hmmmm
I may be slow... But I sure am gimpy.

I have the 1.7 dbl. Love it! My poor HH is doomed to the locker.
