Stu and I are friends and certainly not competitors. I think anyone would be hard pressed to say there is any real difference in price or quality. We work together sometimes and he has gotten me out of a jam or two and made products for my customers. Order from either and you won't be dissapointed.
    Peace Dutch

straight from the Dutch himself... order from either one, or both... you will end up ordering from most cottage vendors on here before it's all said and done with anyways...

    Dutchware vs whoopieslings.com

You won't look back by going with either one.
This isn't like price shopping between Walmart & Target. When you purchase something from a HF vender, you are buying from the guy down the street, who (if you're lucky) you may be hanging with some day!

For me supporting our cottage vendors is extremely important. For the most part they take what we think out loud and produce workable products to expand our sport.
I remember way back when when I thought a bottom entry hammock was cutting edge, and just look where we are today.

I have bought stuff from both companies. Good stuff. Although Dutch is more into the heavy metal end of hammock gear (if you can call his Ti goodies heavy metal ) I have heard rumors that some of our lady hangers wear Dutch gear as jewelry.

Dutch is great to work with and Stu is great to work with. They have both had multiple orders from me and delivered high-quality in short turnaround times - in fact all of the HF vendors are like that.

Both are fantastic vendors - I have and will purchase from both - and you most certainly cannot go wrong with either.

I wonder if the fact there are two suppliers is what keeps prices down? You know, friendly competition. Now if Dutch wanted to be predatory and guide a hostile takeover we'd likely see a downgrade in quality and higher prices. And then the rebranding to "Dutch St[ew]" or we'd be buying "Stu-ngers" and "Stu-Flyz".

I say, let sleeping dogs lie (more comfortably now thanks to the correct hammock setup thanks to the Dutch Hangle).
