    Universal "snakeskins"?

I realize that snakeskin's, at least name wise are particularly a Hennessey hammock thing. In fact, that was about the only thing that I liked about the Hennessey in comparison to the Blackbird. So, is there a snakeskin-esque equivalent that I could be using on a Warbonnet Blackbird? If so, could some one direct me towards where I could purchase a pair.

The ones you already have will work, just switch them over.
If this isnt an option search lazy slug tubes, there is a tread running right now about them.

Yes, contact 2QZQ to make a pair. They cannot advertise because of HH patents, but they make awesome custom skins. I got some from her with pockets on the ends to store the ridge line cords. Works awesome. Couldn't be happier with them.

Mountain goat gear also makes some awesome tarp skins... Really come in handy...

I bought a used set from Streamline last year in the classifieds here. Guy does really nice work. Keep an eye on the for sale section or place a WTB ad if you're serious about getting some.
Mine are with my rig full time and ready to hang.

I just bought a set of tarp skins from Wilderness Logics, they are very well made, have the pockets on the ends for your suspension.

You could always make a set. They are very easy to make, there is a sticky under DIY subsection. If I can make them, anyone can.

FWIW, I stopped using the snakeskins on my hammock and now use a bishop bag. It is easier for me to stuff the hammock in a bag than to squeeze it into the skins. I now use the skins for my tarp.

What is a bishop bag exactly and does it offer the weather protection that snakeskins do if say you wanna throw up your hammock in its skins and then set the tarp up and have it protected from rain in the meantime?
