Well....now that THATs out of the way......

Never owned a hammock. Would like to do some research before I buy one and this seems like a great place to discuss any questions I have. I have a bachelors in Foresty, so until I'm useful in Hammiquette, why don't you try me at trees?

Welcome! This is an awesome place to do research on hammocks and pretty soon you can say you have a bachelors in hammocking from the University of HF.

There are as many ways to hang a hammock as there are trees in a forest (believe it or not), but if you just want to get off the ground, pick any ol hammock, some tree straps and go for it.
