Urgent Question: First hanging trip this weekend

So, it should never get down into the 30s at night in Arkansas in April, but that's what is going to happen Friday night. It is going to be somewhere between 30 and 35 degrees that night. I am a new hanger and this is my first trip out with the hammock and I am nervous. I practiced at home with a Thermarest Ridgerest which has an R-Value of 2.8ish. I didn't think that was enough to get me through this trip. I just bought a Thermarest Trail Scout, R-Value 3.7. My top quilt is fine for these temps. Shouldn't I be warm enough with this pad? Thoughts anyone? Thanks for reading.

I have used the trail scout down into the teens by itself before i started buying UQ. I am a warm sleeper but should do fine. If you are a cold sleeper you can use both pads.

I don't consider myself a warm sleeper and I've slept in the 30s with a pad just fine.

That's what I want to hear. I am usually a warm sleeper. I used the Ridgerest down to 32 degrees and had to bail around 5:30 because I got cold. I was pretty confident that the Trail Scout had enough to keep me warm, but wanted to hear it from someone else.

Good advice. Thanks. Mine is the Large size. I like having 25 inches in width, also makes it easier to stay on. I know it's extra weight obviously but I am much more comfortable than trying to stay on a 20 inch pad.
