Roan/ Grassy Ridge Hanging??

Arriving at Roan High Bluff friday late afternoon via shuttle for a leisure two nighter back down to 19E.....

Looking to put a few milesi n Friday and camp near Grassy Ridge...Is there some spots close by to hang??

Basically I would love to hang out/eat on Grassy Ridge then hunker down very close by...

p.s. If there is a sweet spot for the second night on the way to 19E that we shoudn't pass up????

go to 09:45, that handsome man is Hangnout, directly behind his shoulder(s)/head is Grassy Ridge...3/4 mile from Round Bald where he is standing. At 10:51 is another good look at Grassy Ridge..That should give you and idea of the terrain/trees in the area. The trees up there are stunted and you'll have to drop off the AT but trees are findable. I'd just plan on hunting hanging trees well before you need them.
Now between Round Bald and Grassy Ridge off to the right (you're hiking NoBo) are sites tenters use to get out of the wind.
If you push on toward Overmountain Shelter area past Grassy Ridge you hang options increase.
