Very nice video, MM!
The mountains sure are beautiful, no matter the time of year. Looked a wee bit cold, exposed up on that bald--but the thermometer sure said something different.
Glad that your continuing experience with the sock(s) has been good so far.
You brought two different stove systems and were still at 19 lbs for a 20* trip? I'm impressed. I'm hard-pressed to do that with one stove system at that temperature...then again, I likely carry a lot more water than you do. Still, that's a very difficult target to hit for those temperatures while being comfortable in all conditions experienced. Well done!
This made my morning coffee a very enjoyable experience this morning. Thank you for the video!

That was a great way to end the day... just a little of the right medicine before I hop into bed.
Thanks mate!

Thanks for taking us along! Another great set of videos. Still miss the Goatee, just doesn't seem the same without it
Everyone ought to believe in something....I believe I'll go set up the hammock!
Thanks for sharing your trip with another great video.
Beautiful section of the AT. I'm really enjoy your time lapse shots.
Thanks for taking us along.

You guys slay me with kindness. It's all fun. Finally gotten the camera rig down to less than 2 pounds so that helps. The temperature on the thermo of 60F was inflated a bit, it was sitting on black nylon, was way chilly on top of Big Bald with the wind, we hung out in a depression letting it zip over the head.
Pack weight was good...knowing where the water sources was a big help....2 stove yes but Poof had one of them.
HNO is a humble man-he's had such an influence on my sleeping comfort and pack comfort-can never tell him thanks enough.
Not a great day for time-lapse; was hoping to be on the bald either in front of a storm front or behind one but you do with what you've got.
Another thing that decreased the pack weight-no charcoal or steak! Had to sacrifice for this one knowing the gain and loss we'd have.
B2R, glad it wasn't bad medicine HA!
Goatee will return after I win lotto 2Ply! Everytime I see your post I reflect back to my time in Clarke County
Glad some of you besides a lot of the Savage Gulf crew have discovered the Hadron but yes the sleeves are way too tight, crammed a jar top into mine to keep it stretched and fatigued the elastic, helps.
Someone PM'ed about the thermomenter-it was another roching by Roche, maybe he can remember where it came from?
FLRider, we made the decision to push on a couple more miles past the shelter area but several reasons but 2 miles was also another 1500 feet lower, those that did stay in the shelter area woke up to 20F and that would probably been beyond what I had with me..it wore us out but we slept warm and over 10 hours; so it was push the body for warmth.
Peg-Leg, StinGA, you guys are always supportive-means a lot!
Les-time lapse will wear out a camera...a shutter has only so many shots and I'm giving this one a thorough go. One more place to get too after we get back.
The red line worked good! Its speed matched the music. Thanks for the 1066m. Very nice, sunny day, and a great view from the top. Those hills have funny names. Good job, Poof! The dead forest was sad to see! Thanks for the video, MedicineMan, good stuff!
