Ok, I am down to choosing between the Superfly and the Old Man Winter......... Need some help deciding.,.,, Any info would help. They both cost about the same and just about the same coverage.... So what made you choose between the two?

Superfly for sure. Just a super solid tarp from a top notch manufacturer...
Both will treat you well and both have solid reputations.
I'd recommend the Supefly - largely because that's what I have and I LOVE it and all my Warbonnet gear.

Both are good tarps. The OMW has an extra side tie out in the middle. Whereas the SF is just cat cut from corner to corner. I've never needed an extra one but have read some like it for added tautness. YMMV. Can't go wrong with either IMO. Maybe it will come down to which you can get faster.

+19.
I've owned both. I find it easier to get a taught pitch with the superfly and I think the 3rd middle tie-out may be why. I personally didn't like the extra line or the trouble getting taught without it. As far as it's bombproofness though. I've used it in some heavy weather and it didn't touch the tarp's limits. a foot of snow on the OMW.. using in 35+mph winds.. handled it all fine.
So really it'd come down to the tie-out and availability like Bubba said.
Being only a little ways down the road from you, I'd pick the Superfly. I had it out in that rain we had a couple days ago and it covers my XLC and me perfectly. Haven't tried the old man winter but they weigh the same so I suppose it is personal preference and pricing but I'm very happy with my camo superfly. If you're close to Langley you're welcome to come by and I'll set it up for you to have a look.

Hmmmm, reading that extra little thingy bit might have saved me this embarrassment...
Lol, I'm off to set up the hammock in the backyard for a hang tonight to do some testing, hopefully won't need the tarp, but I'll have it up in case the rain rolls in. Cheers and good luck, from what I hear you can't go wrong either way.
Wilderness logics fan here! I like the extra pullout on the OMW also, this is strictly cosmetic, but I prefer the way the stitching looks on the OMW.
