Reflectix Idea / Cozy Alternative

I wanted to bounce an idea off of the forum - As I look at my stock pile of cozies for my IMUSA (both 10 and 12), MSR, etc... I had an idea, of why not just bring 3 panels of reflectix with you, and wrap your mug there, and set a piece under and above it. And be creative, and find a way (elastic, velcro, etc) to seal the wrap around the body of the mug.

Granted it wont be seal 100%, but it allows more flexibility and maybe one cozy fits all approach.

Thoughts - or am I thinking to much on this one.

Whatever works for you... You can also make a little pouch that fits bags as well as your pot... Think a flat bottom bag with a slit for a mouth... Where whatever would fit in it depending on the meal, or if your bag broke your cozy would still cover your pot...

Thanks for quick response - I came across the idea while trying to place a mug within a mug (like the IMUSA cook set thread).

I am going to try it out this weekend I hope, but wanted to see if anyone else has tried something similar. I figure with all the uses of reflectix (cozy, sit pad, heat source, CBS preventer, etc), I would find some pieces that would be more universal.
