OK... I just spent enough on fabric and supplies to buy a WBBB so that I can create 2 beautiful 11' hammocks, one for the boy and one for myself. I have the plans, I even have tarps that need to be sealed.
Now I find myself wondering if I really am up to the task....
Any last minute suggestions???

Don't stress it - go slow, don't fret if your line is not straight, or if your grosgrain is pinched here or there, just enjoy it. Things can be tweaked later, and a seam ripper is a great tool.
Depending on left brain / right brain - visualize it, or set individual goals.
One thing I learned is just to sew it and get it hanged. Dont worry about what type of suspension, buckle, clip, loop, whoopie sling, gathered end, mods, etc - just get it sewn, throw a temporary rope on it, and then envision the next step or modification.
I almost put up the rough fabric last night just becasue I had it...
Don’t expect it to be perfect, that’s what gives DIY projects what I like to refer to as character. Most of my projects have a lot of charter and they work just fine, and yours will too.

have a good plan going into it, go slow, and if you start to get frustrated STOP!!! and cool off for awhile before you start back up.
hopefully there is no deadline that you have to meet, so take your time and have fun
also allow yourself plenty of time time, dont try to start something knowing you only have 15min. to work on it.
I usually start at about 2am., no phone calls, or interruptions that way.
Start on a scrap piece to get the hang of the operation and to get the stitch width and tension set right
