    Hi from Brisbane, Australia

Hi all, I am just getting back into hiking after a loooong time. Thought about getting an ultralight t&&t but the idea of a hammock is more interesting, especially DIY. I will mostly doing some reading and research, with occasional questions and doubt I will be able to contribute much for a while - seems like a place I will be happy to hang around...

    Hi from Brisbane, Australia

Hi Fish, thanks for the welcome, there are plenty of great day walks close to Brisbane. You'll surely find something you'll like. There's rainforest and also dryer forest with huge gum trees. I like both.

Hey there HD, nice to 'meet' you. I was just down your way a couple of weeks ago, walked the overland track and loved it. I look forward to the walls of Jerusalem next year.

Ha! The problem of being new is there's so much information I am drowning in it!
