Here is a body shot of me in the hammock, there is no calf ridge that I can feel the hammock has a long and very comfortable lay and there is no excess material hanging over you feet or head.

Are the edges gross grained?

Yes they are.
so this is sort of a gathered end / bridge hybrid? I really like the no floppy fabric bit. subbing as well. I'm really intrigued.
looks like they are sourcing different fabrics and are about to offer more variety:
"(Please note: We are currently sourcing fabrics for a lighter weight option in other colors as well. We are looking to start production on these lighter hammocks in 1.1 oz ripstop by the middle of May. Also look for a line of double layer hammocks and hammocks with bug netting to be available shortly for general purchase. Once we have been able to produce these in our end choice materials, average weights will be updated for the double layer & bug net options. Please contact us with any questions.) "

he now has a photo gallery on the site for the streamliner.
The owner updated the site and added that info after I commented on not being able to find it.Had to read three times to find it. It's there.
I may have to get one to try.

I just looked at the website again and saw the pictures. I can't tell how the suspension is attached to the hammock. There seems to be a lot going on there at the end of the hammock as far as seams in the ripstop and extra grosgrain. I can't make sense of it all.

Thanks for everyone's feedback on the Streamliner and my site. I am always willing to listen to suggestions and/or criticism, as it is the only way I can improve my offerings.
I'm new to running a website, so I am still learning all the ins and outs of that and realizing that it is a lot more work than I had realized. But, I am learning and will continue to improve the site as I can.
