Maybe consider building a Turtle Dog Stand: https://www.hammockforums.net/forum/...ht=turtle+stan You can customize it to your liking and maybe save some repair work to the wall plaster

I just sent the stand back and am considering wall mounting. I have discovered that my studs are 1 x 3s. I still have to figure out how far apart they are (mobile homes can be different, I understand), but I'm wondering if those studs would be strong enough. I mean, I'm tiny, but still .

I guess I could just hang the thing and see what happens. If the walls fall apart, then the studs are too small
The studs are too small!!! Lol!!

I think I can convince my wife to let me do this! That's nice!

I've had great luck with Brazilian hammocks from Seaside Hammocks. I recommend the Elite Naturale. Very comfortable, and the weave feels great against the skin. I was pleased with the Jewel Double I purchased from them a few years aback, and the Elite Naturale is a minor step up from that, not only in looks (better fringe) but in weave quality as well. Somehow, it's got a little bit of natural give to it that makes it instantly comfortable.

I've been fulltiming it in Brazilians for maybe 3 years now.
